A Golden Pathway CD with this title was released in 2016, it compiled most of the 'Daisies recordings from two sessions in April 1986 - unfinished at the time. This version collects the tunes, mostly drummed by Andi Tuck, from the ‘Daisies second weekend of recording.
Wilf had written words and provided the song titles for this but sadly died before he could record them and his words were never found.
Simon Barber of The Chesterf!elds provided the vocals on these songs. The lyrics were from poems written by Steve Batty just after the Sheds split up in 1980, Steve was Wilf’s school, college and best friend and would later perform and record for the fourth encarnation of Psycodaisies.
The ‘found’ sound effects woven in were inspired by Wilf’s story, his loves and his song titles. Some are from Wilf’s own collection of found-sound tapes.
